bee is working but columbia thinks different......

---
As previously elucidated, Beyoncé's upcoming album, 4, doesn't really have any singles. (Nitsuh Abebe offers a pretty good reason as to why here.) So how's her label, Columbia, feeling about this? Says a "Page Six" source: "They're very nervous ... It doesn't have the hit songs that her fans are used to. They asked her to make changes, but she said no." Plausible! But, from some other person: "Beyoncé's career has stalled a bit. Columbia seems to think they can get some mileage out of a comeback record with [Destiny's Child]." Wait. What? No. That is not a thing that's happening. And from yet some other person: "[Kelly Rowland] has her own solo career now, why would she want to be singing back up for Beyoncé?" Stop it. So, in conclusion: 4 still doesn't have any singles; Bey's career is just fine, thanks; and Kelly Rowland, despite her surprising recent chart presence, is not too famous to sing back up for Beyoncé.
